The short version

We use as little as we can get away with. Nothing that identifies you is stored for advertising, and we do not share anything with ad networks. Analytics runs without cookies at all unless you accept them.

Strictly necessary — always on

These make the site work. They cannot be switched off, and under the ePrivacy rules they do not require consent.

Sign-in tokens, stored in your browser so you stay logged in between visits. Clearing them logs you out.

Your 18+ confirmation, stored on your device so the age splash does not appear on every page. This is a flag saying the confirmation happened — it holds no personal detail.

Your language preference, set on first visit so the site loads in the right language.

Your cookie choice itself, so we can remember that you were asked and what you answered.

Analytics — only if you accept

We use PostHog to understand which features get used, so we know what to improve. If you decline, PostHog runs in a cookieless mode: it still counts page views in aggregate, but it sets no cookie and does not persist an identifier across sessions.

If you accept, it stores an identifier so repeat visits can be recognised as the same session history. We do not use it to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell what it collects.

Declining actively clears any analytics cookies already set — it does not merely stop setting new ones.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking pixels. No social-network share buttons that phone home. No cross-site profiling, and no data brokers.

Changing your mind

You can change your analytics choice at any time under Cookie preferences in Settings. You can also clear everything through your browser, which will sign you out and bring back the age splash.
